Whiteside County Fair - Demo Derby - Saturday August 22, 2026

IN PERSON TICKET SALES BEGIN MONDAY AUGUST 10th, 2026 8:00am at the Secretary's office located on the fairgrounds.

ONLINE TICKET SALES OPEN TUESDAY AUGUST 11th, 2026 AT 12:00AM

1300 Reserved seats available .

Reserved tickets are not required for this show. Purchase of a reserved seat does not include gate admission to the fair, which is required.

Approximately 2300 non-reserved seats are available, including 640 seats on either side of the reserved sections and 1000 seats in portable bleachers.

Non-reserved seating available on first come/first served basis. Seats may not be saved by any means other than sitting in them.

Pit passes may be purchased at the demolition derby for $20. Purchase of a pit pass does not include gate admission to the fair, which is required. Pit passes do not guarantee seating.

ALL TICKET SALES ARE FINAL. NO REFUNDS FOR ANY REASON.

The derby runs rain or shine. In the event of severe weather or lightning, the event may be delayed.
Limited parking is available on a first come/first served basis utilizing the Orange St entrance. Handicapped parking is available at the Base St Entrance. All parking in the Fair lot is free.
Outside chairs are not permitted in the grandstand. Seat cushions are welcome.
Yes — concessions will be available throughout the event, including all the usual fair options. No Alcohol allowed on the grounds.
ADA-accessible seating and restrooms are available. Handicapped parking is available at the Base St entrance.
Seat cushions (grandstand benches are hard), ear protection, sunscreen or rain gear depending on weather, and cash for concessions. Coolers, outside food and beverages are not permitted.
The event is family-friendly and open to all ages. Children must have a ticket for seating in the reserved sections of the grandstand. Ear protection is strongly recommended for young children due to engine noise. No discounts.
Derby admission is separate from general fair admission. You'll need both to enter the fairgrounds and the Reserved seating in the grandstand.
Demo Derby Reserved Seating is optional. There are 1300 reserved seats sold on first-served basis. 1300 free grandstand seats and 1000 seats available in portable bleachers. Free seats are not guaranteed as they are filled on a first come/first served basis. Seats may not be saved by any means, except by sitting them.
