Tim Cappello

Tim Cappello has been a professional musician, a multi-instrumentalist

specializing in saxophone and vocals, for over 50 years.

He was born and raised in Silver Lake, New York, about 20 miles from

NYC. He attended The New England Conservatory of Music in Boston,

CalArts, and studied with jazz great Lennie Tristano.

He has performed and recorded with Tina Turner (15 years), Ringo Starr’s

All-Starr Band (twice), Peter Gabriel, Carly Simon, Billy Crystal, and

currently with GUNSHIP. Tim has appeared in numerous movies, including

The Lost Boys, Tap (with Gregory Hines) and Hearts of Fire (with Bob

Dylan) and TV shows Miami Vice, Reservation Dogs and The Equalizer, as

well as having featured segments on The Michelle Wolf Show and Worn

Stories, both for Netflix. Tim was also a regular on the AXS TV show, The

Top Ten Revealed.

He has been performing to packed houses with his show since 2018. The

best is yet to come!
