Red Camel Collective

Red Camel Collective is a bluegrass band comprised of multi-talented instrumentalists and vocalists Heather Berry Mabe, Tony Mabe, Curt Love, and Jonathan Dillon. These names may sound familiar to bluegrass fans, as all four musicians have spent several years performing as members of the Junior Sisk Band.

While continuing to proudly play with Junior Sisk, John, Curt, Heather, and Tony felt the time was right to explore a creative venture of their own. They chose the name Red Camel Collective as a tribute to Junior Sisk and one of his well-known songs, “The Man in Red Camels.” Red Camels, for those unfamiliar, is a vintage clothing brand best known for its iconic overalls—an homage that reflects tradition, authenticity, and timeless style.

Musically, Red Camel Collective’s sound is both eclectic and deeply rooted, blending traditional bluegrass and classic country influences with fresh, modern elements uniquely their own.
