The 2018 International Bluegrass Music Association’s Entertainer of the Year, Balsam Range has become one of the genre’s most award-winning acts. Since forming in 2007, the group has garnered 13 IBMA awards and released 13 critically acclaimed albums, headlining major festivals nationwide, selling out venues, and making multiple appearances at the Grand Ole Opry. Their chart-topping success includes albums like Mountain Voodoo and Aeonic, along with multiple #1 singles such as “Blue Collar Dreams,” “Richest Man,” and “Grit and Grace.” Their latest releases, including Moxie and Mettle and 2023’s Kinetic Tone, continue to produce top-charting hits, showcasing the band’s signature blend of musicianship and storytelling, while recent lineup additions like award-winning mandolinist Alan Bibey further strengthen their sound.
