North Georgia natives and longtime friends, The Band Loula—Malachi Mills and Logan Simmons—is poised for a big breakout this year with the release of their highly anticipated debut EP, Sweet Southern Summer. Produced by John Osborne (Brothers Osborne) with additional production from Greg Bieck (Little Big Town, etc), the EP spotlights the duo’s powerful storytelling and unique swampgrass sound and includes their standout single, “Running Off The Angels,” which Billboard calls “An immensely promising release.” The Band Loula continues to garner widespread attention across the industry with their undeniable chemistry and near-blood harmonies, and recently made their Grand Ole Opry debut, for which they received a standing ovation.
