Event Terms, Assumption of Risk & Liability Waiver

By purchasing a ticket to and/or attending Memphis Bacon & Bourbon Festival (“Event”), you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to the following terms:

Assumption of Risk

Attendance at the Event involves inherent risks, including but not limited to: consumption of food and alcohol, exposure to crowds, uneven terrain, weather conditions, and the potential exposure to communicable illnesses (including but not limited to COVID-19 or other viruses). You voluntarily assume all risks associated with attendance and participation.

Health & Communicable Illnesses

You acknowledge that communicable illnesses may be present in any public setting. While the Event producers take reasonable precautions, they cannot guarantee that you will not be exposed. You voluntarily assume all risks related to potential exposure or illness.

Alcohol Responsibility

You must be 21+ with valid ID to consume alcohol. You agree to drink responsibly. The Event reserves the right to refuse alcohol service to any attendee at its discretion. You assume full responsibility for your actions related to alcohol consumption, including arranging safe transportation.

Food & Allergy Disclaimer

Food is prepared and served by independent vendors. The Event and its producers make no representations regarding allergen-free environments. You are solely responsible for managing any food allergies or dietary restrictions.

Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Tennessee law, you, on behalf of yourself and your guests, hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue Contemporary Media Inc., event producers, sponsors, vendors, venue operators, and their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, contractors, and representatives (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of or related to your attendance at the Event, including but not limited to personal injury, illness, death, or property damage, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from any claims arising out of your participation, actions, or conduct at the Event.

Event Conditions

All ticket sales are final. The Event is rain or shine. Event details, including time, date, and programming, are subject to change without notice. Entry is only permitted during your designated ticket time.

Code of Conduct

The Event reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any attendee without refund for unsafe, disruptive, or non-compliant behavior.

Photo & Media Release

By attending, you grant permission for your image, likeness, and voice to be used in Event photography, video, and promotional materials without compensation.

ACKNOWLEDGMENT

I HAVE READ THIS AGREEMENT, FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS TERMS, AND UNDERSTAND THAT I AM GIVING UP SUBSTANTIAL RIGHTS BY AGREEING TO IT. I DO SO VOLUNTARILY AND WITHOUT ANY INDUCEMENT OR DURESS.
