This is the season opener for HBCU band culture.


ALL ROADS LEAD TO BIRMINGHAM

On Saturday, the South comes alive with three major HBCU football classics—all within driving distance:

  • Alabama State vs. Southern — Birmingham
  • Tennessee State vs. Jackson State — Nashville
  • Alabama A&M vs. Howard — Atlanta

Then on Sunday, every road leads back to The Mecca.
