Friday, May 31 - 7:30pm

There’s something in the air…and It’s not just smoke! It’s no argument that BBQ is a time-tested tradition that we associate with the South – always have, always will – it is one of the few cuisines that Southerners truly identify with as something we have taken as our own and put our own twist on. Cooking meat over an open flame is nothing new - in the South or abroad – so why now? The pit masters that have spent generations perfecting their recipes and pouring their heart and souls into their smoky, savory meats are now making a splash in an unprecedented way – were talkin’ James Beard lists and more, these low country pit masters are putting themselves in the same playing field as Michelin starred restaurants and chefs ,and creating a new name for Southern BBQ. At this intimate connoisseur experience, stand around the pit with the region’s top acclaimed pit masters, learn their stories, hear their secrets and most importantly taste their pride and joy - this white tablecloth BBQ will take guests into a new realm of breaking barriers and celebrating BBQ culture.

Connoisseur Dinner Series: Shades of Italy
Jun. 02
$225.00

Saturday, June 1 - 7:30pm

There are many similarities between Italian and Southern culture and cuisine. Among them being the importance of a meal – rather than eating for nourishment, both Italian’s and Southerner’s eat for other reasons – for the gathering of companions around a table, decorated with the art of food and beverage. Much like the South, broken up by states each with their own staple dishes and flavor, Italy’s culinary identity cannot be pinpointed to one type of Italian cooking, rather each region has its own personality and its own spin on the broader category that is Italian food. In Italy, wine is the centerpiece that holds it all together, and each bottle also has its own regional identity. In this connoisseur dinner, the spotlight turns to the wine, taking you on a tour of Italy and it’s various wine regions, paired with regionally inspired dishes from some of the South’s award-winning chefs.

Connoisseur Dinner Series: Family Meal
Jun. 02
$225.00

Saturday, June 1 - 7:30pm

The backbone of the kitchen is comprised of transplants from all over the world, each using their background, ethnicities and experiences to write a chapter of a one kitchen’s final story. With each of these integral members that serve behind the line, whether job big or small, come years of global culinary traditions that seep into the recipes that land on a diner’s plate. Most of the time, the restaurant patron is unaware of the significant contributions that have been made by those unsung kitchen heroes. This multi-course dinner features award winning chefs telling the stories of the people that make up their teams and how the food that they cook is influenced by this cultural exchange.
