Join Lifecycle Building Center on October 1st, 2026 at LOOP for LBC's annual fundraiser, an evening of community, connection, and impact.
Powered by Goat Farm, LOOP is a cultural hub in Georgia Tech's Creative Quarter that brings together art, research, technology, and community. Through exhibitions, performances, studios, and collaborative projects, LOOP creates space for experimentation, exchange, and new ideas.
LOOP's ethos of supporting creatives in the disciplines of: visual art, design, small-batch manufacturing, film/video production, animation, social practice, ceramics, fashion design, technology, and more resonates with LBC's community centred initiatives.
Our special relationship with LOOP this year has been cultivated with the assistance of MASS Collective, the newest tenant at LBC's warehouse. MASS is an inclusive community workshop and educational facility for artisans and makers, providing access to tools, equipment, and training for creative projects. Their team will join us for the event, where you can learn more about their work.
Funds raised through LBC’s Revel in Reuse event will support LBC’s Nonprofit Material MATCH program, Educational Workshops, the ReBuildATL Coalition, and our newest Brick to Brick Campaign - a program aiming to recover brick from demolition and renovation projects, remove the mortar and offer affordable salvaged brick for reuse. So join us this year at our annual Revel in Reuse 2026 Fundraiser to celebrate the power of community, reuse and circularity. We hope to see you there!
Lifecycle Building Center's mission centers on keeping usable construction materials out of landfills and redirecting them back into the community through reuse. Since 2011, LBC has prevented the disposal of 13.3 million pounds of building materials and generated over $6.47M in community savings by: 1) providing income-restricted homeowners near LBC's Reuse Center access to these materials at an affordable cost and 2) donating free materials to nonprofits, schools and churches across metro Atlanta, with 496 in-kind material grants awarded to 402 nonprofits to date through its Nonprofit Material MATCH program. LBC is also supporting the expansion of affordable housing in low-wealth communities, and working with community partners to provide workforce training in deconstruction as well as free educational classes in home performance and carpentry skills.
