Taking Space:

For many queer artists, visibility is not guaranteed—it is something that must be continually claimed. Throughout history, graffiti, wheat pasting, and other unsanctioned forms of public expression have offered ways to occupy space, challenge norms, and make voices visible outside traditional institutions.

This exhibition builds on FRANK's long history of wheat pasting as both an artistic practice and a cultural language. The works extend beyond the gallery, reflecting a practice rooted in public space and collective expression. Their temporary nature is intentional: they will fade, weather, and eventually disappear, echoing the ongoing work of remaining visible and continuing to take up space.
