The Space Shuttle Challenger had just finished 35 laps around the earth, Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer were just married, and Rick Springfield's 'Jessie's Girl' was enjoying it's first week at number one on Billboard.  Without a doubt, music and radio ruled Supreme.

...but on Saturday, August 1st, 1981, without warning, MTV entered our atmosphere and broadcast the first notes of Music Television Video, 'Video Killed The Radio Star' by The Buggles. That day changed the way we see music, forever.  

39 years to the day, Saturday, August 1st, 2020, Electric Avenue is throwing a Live Stream Birthday Party, beamed directly to your house, celebrating the genius that was MTV in the 1980s.  As the premiere 80s tribute in the known universe, Electric Avenue will perform a collection of New Wave and 80s Pop hits that you know and love.  The best part is, you're invited, and the process is easy!

2. Make sure you receive the confirmation email within minute or so. 

3. Keep that email - click the link in the email between 7:45 pm - 8:00 pm EDT on Sat Aug 1st.

4. Once the countdown has started, turn up the sound and throw the broadcast to your fave Bluetooth Speaker, Apple TV, Smart TV, or Alexa for the full concert experience.
