Join us for our third annual Cask Thief event – a celebration of the best and most unique in American Single Malt Whiskey, as we reveal some of Stranahan's rarest barrels, hand selected by Master Distiller Rob Dietrich. Steal a taste directly from six distinctly aged casks - the rare, the misplaced and the forgotten, all pulled from the depths of our rack-house for the first time.

The evening will include: 6 cask strength whiskey tastings, a pig roast on used Stranahan's barrel staves by Blackbelly Catering, Stranahan's Brickle Ice Cream by local shop, Sweet Action, live music, games, and a live demonstration from our barrel coopers at Independent Stave Company

Cask Thief: Stolen Sips

For this year’s event, we are releasing a limited amount of 375ml bottles from each cask offering, on sale at the distillery, for one night only. This release will be called Cask Thief: Stolen Sips. Each attendee will receive 1 ticket redeemable for the option to purchase 1 "Stolen Sips" bottle of their choice (cask availability based on first come, first serve). VIP ticket holders will receive 2 tickets redeemable for 2 bottle purchases. Cask Thief: Stolen Sips will be available for $47.99 each.

Things to keep in mind:

• All attendees must be 21 years or older. Please have a valid photo ID upon ticket scan.
• Included in the cost of your ticket: 6 unique whiskey samples (7 for VIP), 1 plate of Blackbelly Catering, 1 bowl of Sweet Action Ice Cream, and Eldorado Springs water/various sodas. VIP ticket holders will also receive a free commemorative Cask Thief t-shirt
• Cocktails will be available for purchase for $8 each in our Lounge and Airstream Bar. Credit cards and cash will both be accepted.
• Please enter through the "main entrance" where your ticket will be scanned. You will receive a wristband, your passport, a Glencairn glass for tastings, 1 ticket for Blackbelly, 1 ticket for Sweet Action Ice Cream, and 1 ticket (2 for VIP) for 375ml "stolen sips" bottles (actual bottles not included in the price of your ticket; they will be available for $47.99 each).
• Parking will be extremely limited. Please pay close attention to any posted parking signs in the vicinity. We encourage carpooling and taxiing whenever possible. Please use our event promo code below to receive a $10 discount on your Uber/Lyft ride to and from the event!
