Lycoming College invites the Williamsport community and surrounding areas to enjoy a free show in its Detwiler Planetarium on Friday, September 5th.

"Stars Above and Stories Below" invites audiences on a journey through the night sky to explore the origins of astrology and its transformation into modern astronomy. Discover constellations, planets, and deep sky objects while uncovering how humans have looked to the stars for meaning and understanding throughout history.

This event is free and open to the public, with shows starting at 5 p.m. and 5:45 p.m. To secure your spot, reserve free tickets via BigTickets https://www.bigtickets.com/events/lycoming-college-astronomy-dept/ beginning Friday, August 29th. Doors will open 15 minutes before start of each show. Please note that there will be no admittance after the show begins. You can find us at the Lynn Science Center, located on the corner of Washington Boulevard and Mulberry Street.
