Description

Lycoming College invites the Williamsport community and surrounding areas to enjoy a free show in its Detwiler Planetarium on Friday, March 6th.

Step into NASA’s Artemis program, a bold new era of lunar exploration aimed at returning humans to the Moon and building a sustainable, long-term presence there. “FORWARD! To The Moon” explores how Artemis will land the first woman and person of color on the lunar surface, test cutting-edge technologies, and pave the way for future missions deeper into space—while reflecting on the Apollo missions of the 1960s and ’70s that first landed us there.

This event is free and open to the public, with shows starting at 5 p.m. and 5:45 p.m. To secure your spot, reserve free tickets beginning Friday, February 27th. Doors will open 15 minutes before start of each show. Please note that there will be no admittance after the show begins. You can find us at the Lynn Science Center, located on the corner of Washington Boulevard and Mulberry Street.

Please be aware that our shows may incorporate one or several of the following features: bright lights, flashing visuals, loud sounds, or intense motion effects.

NOTE: ONLY RESERVE TICKETS IF YOU WILL DEFINITELY ATTEND AS SEATS ARE LIMITED!
