Guests will kick off this extravagant affair with our Thursday Masterclass at 5:30 pm, Scottish Influences on a Southern Menu, hosted by Reverence Chef Ewart Wardhaugh from Epicurean in the Culinary Theatre. From there, you'll Awaken Your Senses to the Epicurean adventures ahead by enjoying our Thursday night Signature Event. Friday's journey will take you from our Lunch & Learn class in the Culinary Theatre, Chicken, Spice & Everything Nice to an exploration of natural wine with Craig Richards and his Beverage Director Alex Brashears in Natty Wines for Newbies (and Enthusiasts). Round out Friday by joining us at Tomorrow's Table where you'll feast your eyes on incredible food and beverage and art installations curated by the Hambidge Creative Arts Center.
Saturday's exploration begins by Reexamining Authentic Influences in American Cuisine during our second Lunch & Learn event with cookbook authors Deborah VanTrece, Mimmo Alboumeh and Shai Fargian at the helm. Two Masterclasses will follow in the Culinary Theatre, Sustainable Seafood & Cooking the Available Catch where Cory Bahr and Dean Neff will join Atlanta's favorite wine shop owner, Sarah Pierre. As if your tastebuds were not already on overdrive, you'll round out the day's culinary education with Buford Highway: Send Noods (and dumplings!) where Buford Highway's own Lily Pabian moderates an interactive journey through our City's jewel of a cultural road trip with chef's Jiyeon Lee and Thip Athakhanh. We're certain you'll be in the mood to wash all of this down with Saturday's Signature Event SIP: Classic Southern Cocktails & Soundtracks.
And to wrap up this incredible weekend (there's more you say?!), help us bring our inaugural Gather 'round weekend to a close by enjoying a perfect Southern Punch Brunch in Reverence where chefs and beverage experts will bring you favorite sweet and savory brunch dishes as you sample your way through the South's most famous punches. The day will draw to a close with our final Masterclass, Age *isn't* Just a Number as celebrated butcher Michael (Sully) Sullivan and Atlanta's esteemed beverage expert Kellie Thorn offer up aged meats, cheeses, spirits and more.
