"Noise Through Silence”chronicles the filming and premiere of the 1920s all-black blockbuster movie, The Flying Ace. Watch as two film critics visit the film studio during production and develop two completely different reviews on the film. You'll see the story of love and loss between the film's co-stars, Laurence Criner and Katheryn Boyd. Find out how their lust for fame interfere with their passionate relationship.

DSA’s annual BHT production “Noise Through Silence” was written by 3rd year creative writers Carmen Weishan Herold, Chloe Melton, Nicholas Harris, and Trinity Colbert.

The production is led by the students, as well as the Creative Writing department head, Dr. Hunt. BHT, or Black History Tour, is a historical fiction play that follows real historical events and people, through stories of struggle and triumph. BHT production typically tours to multiple schools across Atlanta.
