  • Unboxing cases of wine glasses and ensuring they are washed. Washed glasses will be polished with coffee filters to remove any remaining water spots. Working with the Check-In team to hand guests a wine glass as their tickets are scanned. Once all guests have entered the festival, please collect any empty glasses that you find on tables in the show, and return them to the station to be washed.

This volunteer will be asked to:

• This volunteer will be asked to: Walk and stand on the concrete show floor during the shift. Communicate with the vendor at the water booth and with convention center staff. Lift and carry up to 20 lbs. (e.g., water dispensers, boxes of crackers). Work collaboratively as part of a team.

The role includes:

• Placing two wine glasses and one tasting guide at each wine booth before the start of the Trade Tasting. Monitor and refill the water dispensers at each dump station before each session begins.

• Using disposable food service gloves to pour crackers into paper boats at each wine booth. Ensuring each wine booth has a full paper boat of crackers before the session starts.

• At the end of the night, empty all cracker boats and replace them with an unopened bag for the next team. Collecting any discarded glassware and returning it to the Wine Glass Handout and Retrieval Station.

• Alerting convention center staff to any spills, broken glass, or excessive trash that needs attention.

• This volunteer will be asked to: Walk and stand on the concrete show floor during the shift. Communicate with the vendor at the water booth and with convention center staff. Lift and carry up to 20 lbs. (e.g., water dispensers, boxes of crackers). Work collaboratively as part of a team.

The role includes:

• Placing two wine glasses and one tasting guide at each wine booth before the start of the Trade Tasting. Monitor and refill the water dispensers at each dump station before each session begins.

• Using disposable food service gloves to pour crackers into paper boats at each wine booth. Ensuring each wine booth has a full paper boat of crackers before the session starts.

• At the end of the night, empty all cracker boats and replace them with an unopened bag for the next team. Collecting any discarded glassware and returning it to the Wine Glass Handout and Retrieval Station.

• Alerting convention center staff to any spills, broken glass, or excessive trash that needs attention.

• This volunteer will be asked to: Walk and stand on the concrete show floor during the shift. Communicate with the vendor at the water booth and with convention center staff. Lift and carry up to 20 lbs. (e.g., water dispensers, boxes of crackers). Work collaboratively as part of a team.

The role includes:

• Placing two wine glasses and one tasting guide at each wine booth before the start of the Trade Tasting. Monitor and refill the water dispensers at each dump station before each session begins.

• Using disposable food service gloves to pour crackers into paper boats at each wine booth. Ensuring each wine booth has a full paper boat of crackers before the session starts.

• At the end of the night, empty all cracker boats and replace them with an unopened bag for the next team. Collecting any discarded glassware and returning it to the Wine Glass Handout and Retrieval Station.

• Alerting convention center staff to any spills, broken glass, or excessive trash that needs attention.

Thank you for lending your time and energy to help make the 2026 Cincinnati International Wine Festival a success. In this sign up, you will find a list of volunteer roles and time slots. Each role includes a short description including responsibilities, venue, parking, and dress code. Please choose a role that best fits your strengths and schedule. 

As a thank you for your volunteer time, each volunteer will receive a complimentary ticket to one grand tasting session. You will be prompted to select your grand tasting session at checkout. 

How to Sign Up:

1. Click “Register to volunteer”

2. Review the available event dates, roles, and shifts available

3. Select the open slot you'd like to claim.

4. Review the role’s responsibilities in the description to ensure you can perform those duties

5. Complete the checkout process
