These dogs are scary fast! Join us on Saturday, October 25 at the SEASIDE® Amphitheater from 10:00AM to 2:00PM for one of the most beloved events of the season: The 15th Annual Halloweener Derby

Watch as speedy dachshunds dash for glory in Halloweener Derby, then stick around for the Costume Contest, where pups of all shapes and sizes show off their spookiest, silliest, and most creative Halloween looks.

All entry fees and donations benefit H.E.A.R.T. Animal Rescue, helping animals in need find loving homes.

Whether you're racing, dressing up, or just there for the fun, this event is a tail-wagging treat for the whole family!

All Doxies need to be registered by race officials.

Your Doxie will be randomly placed within the derby bracket. There are no preferred placements.

All Doxies need to be checked in at the registration tent prior to competing in the derby or costume contest.

Although we do not require your dog to be papered, we do require that he/she is a Dachshund for the Derby.

All dogs will need copies of their shot records. If you do no have shot records with you, by signing the release at registration, you acknowledge that shot records for the dog(s) entered are current.

Registration tables open one hour before the start of the first heat. 

Absolutely NO selling any puppies or adult dogs of any breeds.

Absolutely NO selling any creature of any age or size or breed. 

All owners must sign the event form or a disqualification happens without a refund.

Photography will be taken by event organizers, you release any ownership of these images.

The Pet Costume contest is for all breeds.

All breeds of dogs are welcome to attend the event but we suggest that they are well socialized and accustomed to being around other dogs for everyone's safety.

I understand that I will have to pay a registration fee of $40 per dog for race participation and $25 per dog for the costume contest participation upon arrival at the registration tent. All proceeds benefit H.E.A.R.T Animal Rescue Inc. Please note that all dogs need to be checked in at the registration tent prior to competing in the derby or costume contest.
