Release, Waiver of Liability, Assumption of Risk, and Indemnity Agreement 

WARNING: Participation in Thunder’s Haunted Trail requires your agreement to all terms of this waiver. By purchasing a ticket, you acknowledge and agree to these terms, including waiving your right to sue in case of injury. 

I. Assumption of Risk 

By entering Thunder’s Haunted Trail, you acknowledge that it is an interactive and potentially frightening environment designed to induce fear and anxiety. This includes certain inherent risks, known and unknown, such as: 

• Falling, tripping, or slipping 
  
• Being struck by props, objects, or people 
  
• Tangling in ropes or cords 
  
• Exposure to fog, smoke, uneven terrain, low lighting, loud noises, and sudden movements These risks may result in serious injury or death. If you do not accept these risks, you may not participate. 
  

II. Release and Waiver of Liability 

By participating in Thunder’s Haunted Trail, you release Georgia College and State University, the Board of Regents, the Department of Wellness and Recreation, their staff, agents, and volunteers from any claims related to injury or negligence, including reckless actions. If you do not agree to release these parties from liability, you are not permitted to participate. 

III. Indemnity 

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the parties mentioned in Section II against any expenses (including legal fees) arising from your participation. If you buy or give tickets to others, you must ensure they are aware of this agreement. Failure to agree to these terms prohibits participation. 

IV. Physical and Medical Condition By participating, you affirm that you: 

• Are not under the influence of drugs or alcohol 
  
• Do not have any medical conditions (e.g., heart, seizure, asthma) that would prevent safe participation 
  

V. Age Restriction 

No one under 13 may participate. Participants aged 13-17 must be accompanied by an adult, who assumes full responsibility for the minor’s safety and agrees to indemnify the parties listed in Section II. 

NO REFUNDS WILL BE PROVIDED. By purchasing a ticket, you certify that you are at least 18 years old and accept all terms of this waiver.
