Saturday, Sept. 17 The 4th Annual“ Jazz at the Magnolia”—sponsored by Georgia College & State University (GCSU) and Allied Arts—will be at 7:30 p.m. in Magnolia Ballroom.The GCSU Faculty Jazz Quartet and Student Jazz Combo will join the TDC Trio with vocalist Trineice Robinson-Martin and pianist Tyrone Jackson for this rousing community concert and fundraising event. Robinson-Martin is a faculty member at Long Island University in Brooklyn, New York, and Jackson is a lecturer of jazz piano at Kennesaw State University in Georgia. GCSU faculty members include alto-saxophonist Andrew Allen; vibes and drummers Don Parker and Mia Eaton; and bassist Chris Enghauser. Refreshment will be available. Tickets for the in-person concert are $20, and the cost for the livestream concert ticket is $15. To obtain tickets online, please visit bigtickets.com. Proceeds support Allied Arts in their mission to make the arts accessible to all residents and the GCSU Department of Music .
