I desire to participate in the 2025 Aga Khan Foundation USA Walk & Run, happening at Truist Park and The Battery, Atlanta, Georgia (the “Event”), sponsored by Aga Khan Foundation, USA (the “Foundation”). In consideration of being permitted to participate in the Event, I agree to the following:
Assumption of Risk. I am aware and understand that the Event involves a potentially dangerous activity and involves the risk of injury, pain, suffering, temporary or permanent disability, death, property damage, and/or financial loss. I acknowledge that any injuries I sustain may result from or be compounded by the actions, omissions, or negligence of the Foundation, including negligent emergency response or rescue operations of the Foundation. Notwithstanding the risk, I acknowledge that I am knowingly and voluntarily participating in the Event with an express understanding of the danger involved and hereby agree to accept and assume any and all risks of injury, disability, death, property damage arising, and/or financial loss from my participation in the Event, whether caused by the ordinary negligence of the Foundation or otherwise.
Release of Liability and Waiver of Right to Sue. I hereby expressly waive and release any and all claims for myself, my heirs, executors, and administrators, now known or hereafter known, against the Foundation and its bonafide members, any of the organizers, sponsors, and officials of the said Event, and any of their respective representatives, agents, successors, and assigns (collectively, “Releasees”), arising out of or attributable to my participation in the Event. I covenant not to make or bring any such claim against the Foundation or any Releasees and forever release and discharge the Foundation and all other Releasees from liability under such claims.
Medical Treatment. I hereby consent to receive medical treatment that I may need if I am injured or require medical attention during my participation in the Event. I understand and agree that I am solely responsible for all costs related to such medical treatment and any related medical transportation and/or evacuation. I hereby release, forever discharge, and hold harmless the Foundation from any claim based on such treatment or other medical services.
Media Release. Media Release. I now grant permission to the Foundation to have the rights to my image, likeness, and sound of my voice as photographed or recorded on audio or video tape during the Event without payment or any other consideration. By signing this release, I understand this permission signifies that photographic or video recordings of me may be electronically displayed on the internet or in a public setting
Individuals under 18, certify that they have obtained permission from parents or guardians
I certify that I have read and voluntarily agree to this RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND CONSENT and further agree(s) that no oral representations, statements, or inducements apart from the foregoing agreement have been made.
