“Target” is the contemplative, infectious, piano-forward single by Rui Gabriel and his first release for Carpark Records. Gabriel, the Indiana-based, Venezuela-born artist and co-founder of the acclaimed band Lawn, wrote “Target” while meditating on how the end of friendships feel like romantic break-ups amid an obsession with pop superstar Dido. The track features vocals from singer Kate Teague and is co-produced by Nicholas Corson (The Convenience, Video Age).
