Atlanta based band Lowertown, consists of Olivia O. (Olivia Osby) and Avsha the Awesome (Avshalom Weinberg). After meeting in highschool, they quickly bonded over their shared interest in music. They began to develop a passionate fanbase online after the release of their debut album Friends. Lowertown is a blend of electronic and lo-fi instrumentation that complements their candid, punchy vocals and melancholy, narrative lyrics. Lowertown’s music has been described as indie with aspects of folk and electronica.
