On Thursday, June 26, join Chef Calvin Phan of Poor Calvin's and Chef Duane Nutter of One Flew South for a Southernational Ramen Dinner at Poor Calvin's. Chef Phan will bring his Thai-Southern fusion style and Chef Duane will offer his knowledge of Southern cuisine with Asian influences.
The chefs will offer up three ramen dishes, where each chef will create a dish of their choosing and the third dish will be a collaboration from both chefs.
Chef Phan's take on ramen will be Duck Confit Ramen (duck broth, duck confit and poached egg) for $17. Chef Duane will offer Kentuckyaki Springer Mountain Chicken Ramen (pickled okra, carrots, chicken crackling and poached egg) for $17. The final and collective ramen dish will be Seafood Ramen (five spiced cured scallops and miso beef broth) for $20.
