Join the Georgia Conservancy and the Savannah Tree Foundation on April 27 in Savannah’s Bacon Park Forest for a day of service, as well as a fun, informative lunch and learn at Castaways in nearby Sandfly! Participants in the service project will help to provide trail maintenance and invasive species removal along trails in the Bacon Park Forest. All tools, including gloves, will be provided.

- What to bring: Comfortable close-toe shoes, long pants, insect repellent, sunscreen, water, a light snack and a sense of adventure!
After our morning of service work, join the Georgia Conservancy, Savannah Tree Foundation and guest speaker John Van Stan for lunch and to learn more about the work of our organizations and the importance of Chatham County’s tree canopy. Location for our post-service work lunch and learn is to be determined.
