Oyster Roast for our Coast
The Georgia Conservancy's biggest coastal event is just around the corner! Join us on March 3rd, along with hundreds of our closest friends and newest supporters for a celebration of Georgia's unrivaled coast!
Our annual Oyster Roast will feature all-you-can-enjoy oysters and clams from Sapelo Sea Farms, delicious BBQ from Erica Davis Low Country Catering, Sweetwater Brewing Company beer and live bluegrass from Savannah's own City Hotel. Our Very Important Shucker (VIS) experience includes early admission, American Spirit Works cocktails, wine, a 50th Anniversary Georgia Conservancy Pint Glass, and low-county delicacies from Erica Davis Catering.
The setting: the beautiful Grove Point Plantation along the Little Ogeechee River and the filming location of the Gregory Peck classic, Cape Fear. Thank you to Grate Dane Trailers for generously donating use of Grove Point Plantation.
