Join the Georgia Conservancy on October 5th for a Saturday paddle in the tidal creeks, marshes and intracoastal waterway at Jekyll Island!
Jekyll Island, once known as the "playground of millionaires," is now home to Jekyll Island Club Historic District, Jekyll Island State Park, and other Jekyll Island Authority properties, including the Georgia Sea Turtle Center and Jekyll Island Museum.
Hosted by SouthEast Adventure Outfitters, our Saturday morning paddle will launch from the southwest side of Jekyll Island and track north through the beautiful salt marsh through Fancy Bluff Creek. After rounding the northern tip of the island we will beach our boats at the driftwood beach. Watercraft are not provided but SouthEast Adventures has both kayaks and tandem kayaks for available to rent - click this link for reservations (make sure to reserve your kayak as soon as you register for this experience!)
