Description

Nourishing our planet and the ecosystems that put food on our table is an important part of the culinary industry in today’s modern world. The bounty of Southern waters has long informed the region’s cuisine, from Maryland’s blue crabs to Lowcountry shrimp, but as species wax and wane due to climate change and other environmental degradation, coastal chefs are finding new ways to make the best of what's sustainable. In this immersive master class, led by two Southern chefs, participants will enjoy a delectable discussion and multi-course tasting revolving around the conversation of changing the way we think, eat and nourish seafood in our region. With a chance to watch up close and personal, the skills it requires to select sustainable seafood aligning with seasonal eating and make some of our favorite seafood bites, you’ll have a chance to eat and drink your way through the afternoon, complete with wine pairings by 3 Parks Wine Shop one of Atlanta’s beloved independent wine retailers.

Featuring Chef Dean Neff, Chef Amy Sins, and Sarah Pierre
