EGGtoberfest originated 23 years ago as a way for Big Green Egg to say “Thank You” to loyal customers that regularly logged on to the Forum to share recipes and experiences … and found themselves becoming fast friends. Eager to meet their online “family,” EGGtoberfest provided the opportunity for them to get together and cook their favorite recipes on the EGG. That first year, about 100 Big Green Egg pioneers attended, with 15 cooks firing up an EGG. The meet, greet and eat event turned into the First Annual EGGtoberfest … and the rest is history.
Now in its 21st year, the annual celebration of the Big Green Egg lifestyle has grown to over 3,000 enthusiastic attendees, 250 EGGs, 400 EGGhead cooks, over 30 Culinary Partner Chefs, EGG cooking demonstrations, the largest Big Green Egg store on the planet, live bands, craft beers and more. What hasn’t changed is the amazing food, friendship and an incredible cloud of the most flavorful, smoky deliciousness you will ever experience!
