Tickets for Taste of Athens grant access to the Atrium of
the Classic Center, which will feature:
- food from over 20 of the best local restaurants
- wine pairings selected by sommeliers Steven
James and James Beard Award nominee Steven Grubbs of Five & Ten
- beer from local breweries
- live music
- coffee, desserts and other baked goods
The newly reimagined Taste provides a survey of the finest
food Athens has to offer, from the lunch counters with a focus on craft and
quality, to the white tablecloth dining rooms of our most upscale eateries.
2015’s Taste is a chef-inspired affair, informed by the
outstanding hospitality our food community offers its guests. This year, we’ve
done away with the VIP section; in our minds, everyone is a VIP.
Toast of Athens
Upstairs, in the Fire Hall of the Classic Center, we invite
Toast ticketholders to cut loose, sample cocktails from eight of the best bar
programs in town, and get down to music from DJ Mahogany. Toast will feature a
competition among Athens’s leading bartenders and snacks from Phickles Pickles
and local restaurants like The Pine. And, of course, there’s space to dance,
should the mood strike you.
Bundle Packages
Bundle packages include tickets to both Taste and Toast of
Athens. Start your evening with our cocktail party and then head downstairs for
the main event, top off a night of good eating with drinks and music upstairs
or bounce back and forth between the two rooms. Bundle packages offer you the
flexibility to get the best of what Taste and Toast have to offer, at your own
pace.
