Tried and True Tour
Your favorite bands are coming to the Eagle Theatre! On October 22, join us in Sugar Hill for Lit & Hoobastank: Tried & True Tour. We’re ready to rock out at the Eagle, so be sure to purchase your tickets today.
Just as the nineties dissolved into the 21st century, Lit charged up rock ‘n’ roll with uncompromising punk energy and a power pop punch. However, the Orange County-born band left an imprint on popular culture that only fissured wider over the years like a California fault line.
The group outlasted the next two decades as well. They stood out as the rare act whose presence could be felt loud and clear at Woodstock ’99. Twenty years after its initial release, the Billboard Music Award-winning “My Own Worst Enemy” not only went double-platinum, but Post Malone also covered it on Instagram Live as did Kelly Clarkson and Jimmy Fallon on his late-night show. Further speaking to their enduring influence, they’ve inspired think pieces by everyone from American Songwriter to Kerrang! While Consequence of Sound named them one of the “100 Best Pop Punk Bands.”
On November 20, 2021, Hoobastank celebrated 20 years of their self-titled release, Hoobastank. The 2001 album launched the career of the band to mainstream success with huge singles including “Crawling In The Dark”, “Running Away” and “Remember Me” - all of which have since been certified RIAA platinum. Almost two decades later, the band is still clocking in at over 6M monthly listeners on Spotify and "Crawling In The Dark" has surpassed the 100M streaming mark across DSPs. The band’s 2003 follow up studio album The Reason took them to even greater heights and solidified Hoobastank as a household name.
The band looks forward to continuing their success in the years to come while also celebrating what they have accomplished so far. They have been hitting the road again in 2022 and hope to see all of their fans in person at a show sometime soon.
