Shout out to all MOUNTAINEER fans, friends, and just those who want to party with MOUNTAINEERS !!

WVU football open their promising 2020 season in Atlanta once again vs. Florida State in the 2020 Chick-fil-A Kickoff Classic on Saturday, September 5,2020. Maybe you were in ATLANTA for these past events:

2006 SUGAR BOWL vs. Georgia.(relocated to ATL due to Hurricane Katrina).

2014 Chick-fil-A Kickoff Classic vs. Alabama.

Both of those games were preceded by some amazing MOUNTAINEER parties.Well folks—We are doing it again. Ain't No Party Like a Peach State party cause a Peach State party don’t stop. Do you recall the memorable Park Tavern parties in 2006 and 2014? We had more than 1500 Mountaineers with great food, incredible music, and open bar. And, do you remember seeing the Mountaineer Marching band playing into the tavern while forming in Piedmont park with the park and Atlanta skyline as a backdrop?

Here are some of the details and rest assured we will work hard the next 6 months to add even more fun to both events. Both events are ticketed events and both venues will be open only to MOUNTAINEERS.

THURSDAY evening-September 3, we will host a “Welcome to Atlanta” party at our 20 year Mountaineer partner, Laseter’s Tavern in Vinings. This will be a great opportunity to start the weekend with a bang. Awesome food and beverages will be available at Laseter’s great prices and admission is only $10 per person. In addition to joining old friends and making new Mountaineer acquaintances, we will feature Jenn the DJ, playing all your favorite tunes.

FRIDAY evening, September 4th, we will DO IT AGAIN !——Park Tavern from 7PM till 12 AM- Once again we will feature- Open Bar— Multiple Food Stations including: Fried Gulf Oysters & Fries; Chicken tenders & Fries;Fresh Ground Angus Beef Sliders with Hawaiian rolls and Chips;Dip station with Spinach & artichoke dip,Buffalo Chicken Dip; and 9 Layer Mexican Dip and more.

If that is not enough, we have an award winning band, winners of multiple musical awards over the years—SOUTHERN CITY LIGHTS— You can check out their version of “ COUNTRY ROADS” in the video listed here. All this and more for $85 per person and $30 for those under 21.

The links to buying tickets for both events are shown on this site . We also encourage everyone attending to utilize rude shares instead of driving due to the anticipated large crowds and limited parking.
